National Pie Day Leads to Contest with Crust at Walden Rehab

Concord, MA -- To honor National Pie Day on January 23, Walden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center held a pie tasting contest. We had eleven (11) pies from the kitchen and staff at Walden.
It was great to see the Long Term Care residents and short-term residents mingling together. Everyone enjoyed the pies. The residents then voted for the best pie. Custard pie came out on top, with the rhubarb pie coming in second. The winning staff members received gift cards to Dunkin Donuts.
